Circle to Launch Arc Mainnet with Global Financial Backing

Circle is set to launch its Layer 1 blockchain, Arc, on September 16. Designed as an economic operating system for global finance, Arc utilizes USDC for gas fees and features the Malachite consensus engine for sub-second finality. The network is supported by major institutions including BlackRock, Visa, and Mastercard, and will host various DeFi protocols and payment services at launch. The ARC token has a total supply of 10 billion, with 60% allocated to the ecosystem.
