94% of Crypto Losses Occur Outside Audited Scope, Study Finds

Researchers from security firm ack3 and the Czech Technical University in Prague analyzed 135 incidents reported in the first half of 2026. The study reveals that total losses reached $939.86 million, with 94% of these losses falling outside the scope of previous security audits.
