New launchpad CME introduces commodity-backed meme coin trading

The Commodity Market Exchange (CME) has launched a platform allowing meme coins to be paired with 94 different real-world commodities and non-standard assets, such as natural gas, gold, and consumer goods. The system uses a synthetic asset model with oracles to maintain price exposure. The platform features a revenue-sharing model where 40% of transaction fees are distributed to token holders in the form of commodity tokens, while 30% is used for buybacks and burns of the CME token.
