Clearview AI is testing a prototype tool called InquiryIQ that automatically compiles digital profiles after identifying individuals via facial recognition. According to a report by WIRED, the tool aggregates data from the open internet, including social media accounts, addresses, employment history, and potential associations. The system generates a 'Candidate Graph' to map identities and connections, while also incorporating demographic parameters such as age, gender, and race. Clearview AI stated that the tool has not been used by law enforcement and is not currently planned for release, noting that the automated data may contain inaccuracies.
