Hang Seng Index closes down 0.85% as non-ferrous metal stocks retreat

According to Gate, the Hong Kong stock market saw a decline today, with the Hang Seng Index closing down 0.85% and the Hang Seng Tech Index down 0.79%. Total market turnover reached 118.83 billion HKD. Non-ferrous metal and storage-related stocks experienced significant pullbacks, while oil, gas, and optical communication stocks led the gains. Orient Overseas International rose 2.4%, while Zhida Technology (挚达科技) fell over 28.5%.
