US Department of Defense negotiates $5 billion loan for AI infrastructure startup Fluidstack

The US Department of Defense is negotiating a $5 billion loan with AI cloud platform startup Fluidstack. The funding, provided through the Office of Strategic Capital (OSC), aims to strengthen domestic supply chains and manufacturing capabilities for critical data center components. If finalized, this would be the largest single loan issued by the OSC to date.
