Ripple Integrates AI Agents into Enterprise Treasury Platform

Ripple has introduced GSmart AI agents into its Ripple Treasury platform, formerly known as GTreasury, which the company acquired for $1 billion last October. These agents are designed to monitor corporate cash flow, manage risk, and provide actionable recommendations for finance teams regarding liquidity, forecasting, and reconciliation. While the AI identifies patterns and interprets company policies, all actions require human approval. Ripple emphasized that financial calculations remain deterministic, with AI serving only as an analytical layer. The update expands GSmart's capabilities to additional workflows and introduces new features including the Knowledge Studio policy layer and the Ask GSmart assistant. Currently, 60% of eligible clients use Risk Insights, and 44% use Forecast Insights, with the platform now supporting both traditional and digital assets.
