Micron to provide Taiwan employees with bonuses equivalent to 35-68 months of salary for fiscal year 2026

Micron Technology announced that its direct labor employees in Taiwan will receive total rewards for fiscal year 2026 equivalent to 35 to 68 months of salary. The package includes a minimum cash compensation of 1.7 million TWD (approximately 53,809 USD), with employees hired before August 29, 2025, receiving a 1 million TWD (approximately 31,652 USD) cash bonus. This decision follows widespread support for a strike among union members representing about two-thirds of the company's Taiwan workforce.
