Anthropic (Anthropic) revealed that a group in northern Yemen utilized its Claude AI model to assist in the development of missile and rocket systems, including guidance and navigation software. According to the company's latest abuse detection report, the actors attempted to conceal the military nature of their projects, which involved three weapon programs such as a ballistic missile with a claimed range of over 2,000 kilometers. This incident highlights growing concerns regarding the misuse of advanced AI by non-state actors for military purposes.
