Polymarket Launches Perpetual Futures with Up to 20x Leverage

Prediction market platform Polymarket has introduced 'Polymarket Perps,' a perpetual futures product featuring 67 markets including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, HYPE, gold, oil, and various indices. The product uses hourly funding rates to anchor prices to spot assets, with leverage up to 20x for crypto and major commodities, and 10x for individual stocks. US traders are restricted from these products and directed to the CFTC-regulated Polymarket US, following a 2022 settlement where the company paid $1.4 million for operating unregistered swap facilities.
