Balancer Offers White Hat Bounty for Return of Stolen Funds by September 9

Balancer has sent an on-chain message to the hacker responsible for the August 31 exploit of its V1 protocol, which resulted in a loss of approximately $234,000. The team is offering a bounty in exchange for the return of the stolen assets and has promised not to pursue legal action if the funds are returned by 5:00 AM on September 9. If the hacker fails to respond by the deadline, Balancer intends to pursue technical, on-chain, and legal measures to track the attacker.
