Anza Deploys Solana Token Rent Reduction to Mainnet Beta

Anza announced that the reduction of token rent on Solana has been deployed to Mainnet Beta, with the first phase of proposal SIMD-0437 activated at epoch 1028. This update lowers the required lamports per byte from 6,960 to 6,333. Subsequent phases will be activated following status checks on state growth, with the final goal of reducing the rent to 696 lamports per byte.
