Taiwan Targets Q1 2027 for Crypto and Stablecoin Regulation Implementation

Taiwan's Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) Chair, Peng Jin-lung (彭金隆), announced that new regulations for cryptocurrencies and stablecoins are expected to be implemented as early as the first quarter of 2027. The commission is currently drafting nine related regulatory rules.
