Micron Plans Significant HBM Production Expansion by Year-End

Micron Technology plans to make substantial equipment investments by the end of the year to boost the supply capacity of its latest HBM4 12-layer products. The company aims to add up to 60,000 wafers per month in HBM production capacity. Given that last year's output was approximately 40,000 to 50,000 wafers per month, this expansion will more than double Micron's total HBM production capacity.
