Ondo Finance Proposes Regulating US Stock Perpetual Futures Under Existing Frameworks

Ondo Finance, a firm specializing in real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, has argued that perpetual futures referencing individual US-listed stocks can be managed under existing securities and futures regulations. The company suggested to the SEC and CFTC that there is no need to establish a new regulatory category for these products.
