De Nederlandsche Bank Relocates Over 78 Tons of Gold to London
The Dutch central bank (De Nederlandsche Bank) announced the relocation of over 78 tons of gold reserves from New York and Ottawa to London in response to geopolitical instability. Only 27 tons of physical gold were transported to Europe, while the remaining balance was managed through financial transactions involving the sale of assets in the Americas and simultaneous repurchases in the London market. This move is intended to optimize reserve structures and mitigate potential geopolitical risks.
