Former xAI and X CFO Anthony Armstrong Joins Coinbase Board

Coinbase has appointed Anthony Armstrong to its board of directors, where he will serve on the audit and compliance committee. Armstrong previously served as CFO for xAI, X.AI Corp, and X Corp, and held a long tenure as vice chairman of investment banking at Morgan Stanley before advising the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). His appointment expands the Coinbase board to 10 members. SEC filings confirm he is not related to Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong.
