Bloomberg: Coinbase Co-founder Fred Ehrsam Eyes Venezuelan Oil Fields

Coinbase co-founder Fred Ehrsam is reportedly negotiating to gain control of at least three oil fields in Venezuela, currently operated by Alvorada Heavy Industries Ltda. Through his investment firm Primavera, Ehrsam has been exploring opportunities in energy, fintech, and digital payments, including multiple visits to Caracas to discuss potential investments with U.S. officials.
