YAM Finance Faces Governance Takeover Attempt

Security firm Defimon reported a governance takeover attack on YAM Finance. An attacker self-delegated 504,000 YAM tokens to submit a malicious proposal, #45, which aims to set the attacker's address as the pending admin of the YAM Timelock contract. If successful, the attacker would gain full control over the protocol's contracts and DAO treasury, putting approximately $337,000 at risk. Users are urged to vote against the proposal before the deadline at block height 25897343.
