UK Crypto Investors Report £1.38 Billion in Gains, With Half Concentrated Among Top 240 Individuals

Data from the UK tax authority reveals that 17,600 taxpayers reported a total of £1.38 billion in cryptocurrency gains. Notably, half of this total profit was generated by only 240 individuals. The agency also noted that it expects to begin receiving data under the Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework (CARF) starting in 2027.
