Brazilian Federal Police Launch Operation Umbra Against Drug Trafficking Ring Using Crypto

The Integrated Force for Combating Organized Crime in Amazonas (FICCO/AM), supported by the Federal Police (PF), launched Operation Umbra on June 27. The operation targets an interstate drug trafficking organization suspected of laundering 115 million BRL through cryptocurrency transactions. Civil Police and the Military Police's Special Operations Battalion (BOPE/PMAM) assisted in the crackdown.
