Iran Transfers $7.5 Billion in Oil Revenue to Central Bank

According to Iranian media outlet Fars News, Iran has secured sufficient oil sales to meet its budgetary requirements, unaffected by maritime transport constraints. Data from the Ministry of Petroleum indicates that 99% of the projected oil revenue for the first four months of the current fiscal year has been realized. The ministry has transferred $7.5 billion in foreign exchange earnings from oil sales to the Central Bank of Iran, which is expected to cover government foreign currency expenditures through January of next year.
