Ethereum developer nixo.eth confirmed that the EIP-8141 account abstraction proposal has been moved to the 'scheduled' status for the upcoming Pectra (Hegotá) upgrade. While EIP-8130 emerged as a competitor with plans for deployment on Base, developers are working to unify standards to prevent fragmentation between Layer 1 and Layer 2.
