Florida Credit Union Sued Over Unexplained $42,000 Loss in Customer Account

Mary E. Maier has initiated a federal lawsuit against VyStar Credit Union, alleging that the institution failed to investigate or provide reimbursement for $42,000 lost in an impersonation scam that occurred in November 2025. The plaintiff asserts that the credit union violated federal regulations mandated by the Electronic Fund Transfer Act.
