Monetizing Idle Macs: A Guide to Darkbloom Decentralized AI Inference

Darkbloom, developed by the EigenLayer team at Eigen Labs, allows users to turn idle Apple Silicon Macs into decentralized AI inference nodes. By providing computing power for model requests, users can earn between $120 and $200 per month. The platform currently supports 250 Macs and has processed 4.5 billion tokens. Unlike other DePIN projects, Darkbloom operates via Stripe with fiat payments rather than tokens.
