Enjin Exploited: Attacker Drains $142,000 in ENJ Assets

Enjin's ERC-1155 'Crypto Items' protocol suffered an exploit where an attacker utilized a malicious transfer adapter to bypass owner approval checks. By routing transfers through this adapter, the attacker successfully extracted ENJ-backed items from approximately 52 wallets without authorization. The attacker then used the melt() function on the stolen items to redeem 500 ENJ per item from the platform's reserves.
