Japan Explores Blockchain Infrastructure for Securities Cash Settlement

The Financial Services Agency (FSA), Ministry of Finance, Bank of Japan (BOJ), and major financial institutions are collaborating to study blockchain-based infrastructure for securities cash settlement, with a development plan expected by early 2027.
