Bank of America and Ernst & Young Settle Data Breach Lawsuit

Bank of America and Ernst & Young have agreed to a $2.5 million settlement to resolve a class-action lawsuit regarding the 2023 MOVEit data breach. The settlement addresses claims that the firms failed to adequately protect consumer personal information following a vulnerability in the MOVEit file transfer service.
