Starcloud Secures $250 Million Funding with Nvidia Participation

Space computing startup Starcloud raised $250 million in a funding round led by Manhattan West Ventures, with participation from Nvidia, Cisco, Benchmark, and EQT. Nvidia contributed approximately $25 million. The funds will support satellite manufacturing and the development of the Starcloud-3 orbital data center. The company is currently testing Nvidia H100 GPUs in orbit and collaborating on the Vera Rubin Space-1 GPU, while CEO Philip Johnston has previously exp
