TRM Labs Reports 40% Increase in AI-Driven Crypto Crime

Blockchain intelligence firm TRM Labs reports that criminal adoption of AI has risen 40% year-on-year in 2026, primarily driven by scams. The AI-in-Crime Adoption Index has climbed to 54 out of 100, with scams being the only category currently classified as 'Mature'.
