The Sandbox has contained a vulnerability in its cross-chain bridge affecting the Base and BNB Smart Chain (BSC) networks. Attackers minted unauthorized SAND tokens, though the impact remains under 0.01% of the total supply. Ethereum and Polygon assets remain unaffected. Cross-chain functionality for the affected networks is suspended, and users are advised against trading SAND on Base or BSC.
