Arbitrum Advances ZK Settlement to Reduce L1 Withdrawal Times

The Arbitrum development team is integrating zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs to enable a multi-proof settlement model. This upgrade aims to reduce the settlement time of Arbitrum blocks to Ethereum L1 from days to hours. The team plans to submit an upgrade proposal to the DAO, incorporating ZK proofs into the existing dispute resolution framework to enhance capital efficiency and security.
