DeepSeek Flash Traffic Drops by Half Following Price Hike

OpenCode CEO Jay V reported that DeepSeek V4 Flash daily token consumption on OpenCode surged from 3 trillion to 18 trillion within two weeks of its August 1 launch. Following a 5x price increase during peak hours on August 16, daily consumption fell by over 50%. Jay V attributed the hike to rising GPU costs and noted that the platform is seeking new suppliers to meet demand.
